Unfortunately, last night (Tuesday) a significant disruption to our aircraft fleet reduced our operating schedule to a single aircraft, between the North & South Islands.
We have already taken steps to divert items to alternative transport routes to get them to their destinations as quickly as possible:
- Including alternative air transport where possible for time-critical items
- And alternative road routes for the majority of courier items
We are working as quickly as possible with our airline partner to reinstate at least one aircraft tonight in order to operate a 2 aircraft network.
However, the nature of this disruption, combined with the significant number of items in the network as a result of Black Friday and Cyber Monday retail events, mean it may take the rest of this week to clear the delayed parcels.
